Introduction to Docker and Using Percona Server for MongoDB: Getting Started with Docker and PSMDB i

It is also possible to connect to the containerized MongoDB using a host mongo shell. On the docker ps output, the container id has a field that informs its port mapping, and then it is a simple connection using that port.

Wondering how to setup Percona backup for mongodb docker? you are in luck! Our experts have put together this guide to help you get started. Our Docker Support team is here to lend a hand with your queries and issues.

Introduction to Docker and Using Percona Server for MongoDB

Note: If you are using a remote server, you can view the targets by navigating to _server_ip:9090/targets. You could also use port-forwarding to view the targets locally. To do this, open a new terminal on your local computer and enter the following command:

Starting for percona/percona-docker. Supported by Evgeniy Patlan, Manager, Build & Release Engineering. There are images for basic scenarios. The idea is to create more images and improve the existing ones or extend them to Docker Compose. Also, contributions to improve the Docker setup are welcome. You can find issues in Jira or GitHub, where you can also participate in discussions about Percona Docker images.

In this article we will see the steps required to create and configure MongoDB replicaset containers on persistent volumes using Docker Compose. Compose was developed to define, configure and spin-up multi-container docker applications with single command, further reducing . Extensive usage of Docker with several container management quickly becomes cumbersome, Compose overcomes this problem and allows to easily handle multiple containers at once using YAML configuration docker-compose.yml

In the first install, it takes harder than console management for MAriaDB cluster for our 3 database servers. But after using its features, I saw that deploy & install zero configuration was easier than using a database.. Inserting & removing nodes to active cluster is a perfect module.. Tools of clusters are better than ever, haProxy, tuning options and others are very comfortable and reportable with ClusterControl..

Commentaires :Really ideal for managing of database. Easy to use, it has many great options (like host failure detection, etc). We can implement to deployment (using docker compose file) without any problem.

I've looked for a sofware for supporting database of AWX environment. I really liked to ensure a smoothly operation regarding AWX. The datase availabiliy is fundamental, too. I planned a master-slave database (plsql) cluster and created everything using docker comopose file.I think, really easy to use this software and is able to support this database cluster enviroment. Very useful if we can check the perfomance data (of database node) real-time, and add or remove node to/from cluster.

I would have liked to add a pre-configured slave database node/image (using docker-compose file, with unique postgresql configuration) and I ran into some errors - meanwhile the new slave host has been added via ClusterControl. I could fix everything but wasn't easy to guess (from error message) what the real problem is. 2ff7e9595c
